PARISHES LIVING OUT THEIR FAITH WITH CAFOD
This summer, many parishes and individuals here in the Archdiocese of Liverpool have responded to CAFOD’s call to highlight unjust national debt by signing their petition.
Many of the world's poorest countries are in a debt crisis, forced to pay ever higher interest rates to wealthy lenders, using money that could otherwise be spent on healthcare, education, and coping with the climate crisis. Often, they’ve paid their original debt several times over but are trapped in a spiral of debt that can't be cleared due to the interest.
Thank you to all who have added your voice to this call for fairness.
ARCHDIOCESAN GOOD NEWS – ST DOMINICS: CONGRATULATIONS TO MICHAEL AND DAVID!
Congratulations to Adegor Michael-Peter Oghenovie Onyedikachi and Adegor David-Raphael Oghenefeme Chibuakum, who have faithfully served as altar servers at St. Dominic’s, Huyton, for the past three years.
At the 11am Mass on Sunday 9 August 2026, Fr. Ealey enrolled Michael and David into the Guild of St. Stephen, marking a special milestone in their ministry.
We hope and pray that Michael and David’s ministry as altar servers will be a long and fruitful one.
Well done, Michael and David!
SAFEGUARDING SURVEY
In October, the Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency (CSSA) will conduct an audit on the archdiocesan safeguarding team and the work they do to keep our parishes safe.
As part of this audit, we're asking everyone within the Archdiocese of Liverpool – whether you are a victim, survivor, layperson, clergy, volunteer or parishioner - to take a few minutes to complete this survey.

The survey will be open from Monday 24 August and will close on Friday 25 September.
Please complete the form by scanning the QR code or visiting: forms.cloud.microsoft/e/KU4BAFEYt2
MACMILLIAN COFFEE MORNING:

Please follow this link for more information and to sign an Open Letter to the Secretary of State. We need a bold and ambitious plan for dementia
