LITANY OF ST JOSEPH

Communication of the Congregation for Divine Worship and Discipline of the Sacraments

The Holy Father has given approval for the addition of seven new invocations to the Litany of St Joseph in this year marking the 150th anniversary of the proclamation of St Joseph as Patron of the Universal Church.

On October 3rd 2020 Pope Francis  travelled to Assisi Oct. 3 to sign an encyclical on the social, political and economic obligations that flow from a belief that all people are children of God and therefore brothers and sisters to one another.

My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most Holy Sacrament. I love you above all things and I desire to possess you within my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace you as being already there and unite myself wholly to you. Never permit me to be separated from you.

Dear Jesus,I believe that you are truly present in Holy Communion I love you and would love to receive you now, but since this is not possible, please come to me and fill me with all the blessings and graces I need to cope with everything that is going on. Unite us all and give us the peace which you promisedonly you can give.Amen.
