WORLD ALZHEIMER’S DAY THANK YOU

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our World Alzheimer’s Day events last week. Our fundraiser event on Saturday was a great success raising more than £3000 in aid of Alzheimer’s UK and our own dementia friendly fund. We are extremely grateful to the many local businesses who made donations and to our fantastic entertainers and helpers. Our Dementia Information Session on Monday was well attended. We are grateful once again to the NHS Memory service professionals, Jill Pendleton and Emma Stafford, for their informative presentations and to their care navigators and Gill Phelan, our local Dementia Advisor, who were available for one-to-one questions.
