THANK YOU FROM SOUTH LIVERPOOL FOODBANK
A message from South Liverpool Foodbank
On behalf of South Liverpool Foodbank, we want to pass on our sincere thanks to you and all the parishioners at St Mary's, Woolton for supporting our food bank. We’re incredibly grateful.
The essential items you donated via our Netherley food bank centre will make their way into our emergency food bank parcels for local people who need our help.
It's hard to believe that people in our community are going without food and other essentials, but sadly it's true. One in seven people face hunger across the UK because they simply don’t have enough money. Low levels of income combined with increasing costs are forcing people to have to turn to our food bank.

Your support is invaluable, making a big difference to local people struggling to afford life's essentials. People like grandparents Sandra and Alan, who were referred to us by Citizens Advice.
Due to a family crisis Sandra and Alan took over custody of their two grandchildren. They tried to cope, but found it impossible to make ends meet and were struggling to put food on the table. We were able to provide them with three days' emergency food and hook them up with their local food pantry, where they can now buy food at reduced prices.
We want a future where no one in South Liverpool needs a food bank to survive. Until that happens, with your help, we can continue to provide emergency food and practical support to people in their hardest moments.
With our heartfelt thanks and very best wishes
