WORLD ALZHEIMER’S DAY - FUNDRAISING EVENT 2024
A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Alzheimer’s Society Fundraising Event last Saturday (21st September) night!
A great time was had by all and we raised a whopping £3000.00!
Heartfelt thanks to our wonderful and talented entertainer/MC Phil Ford for leading the evening’s events. A huge thank you to the brilliant jazz and rhythm and blues singer/pianist Victoria Sharpe, who took the night off from working at her usual venue at the Puffin Rooms in Liverpool to join us. Victoria is a regular at St Mary’s dementia activities and brings her lovely mum, to every session. We also offer a great big thank you to Stevie S, for gracing us with his soulful tones. Stevie has early onset dementia but continues to enjoy singing and entertaining his guests. All of these gifted artists gave of their time and talents free of charge to support this needy cause.
