FAIRTRADE COFFEE MORNING 12TH MARCH 2023

As part of our LiveSimply programme we have recently been raising awareness of Fairtrade and Fairtrade Fortnight, including Fairtrade-themed coffee mornings at both Parishes on the two Sundays within Fairtrade Fortnight.

The (pictured) coffee morning in the Parish Hall after that 11:00 Mass attracted 40 was a great success. Ruth created table centre pieces with information on Fairtrade, its aims and products.

The key messages are: Buying Fairtrade products support both farmers, and sustainable farming, in low income countries. The more we choose Fairtrade products, the more our local supermarkets will stock them
