TIME TO PAUSE: After all the efforts over these past months, I feel the need to pause and take a deep breath.

We have successfully celebrated Adoremus and given thanks for the blessings surrounding the ‘World Meeting of Families’ and Pope Francis’s visit to Ireland.
Also, I am grateful to have had the opportunity in the last few months to have been able to exercise our special Redemptorist charism by preaching Novenas in London and Dublin as well as spending a few days with the Military Chaplains.
As we move into the autumn I would like to continue to take stock with you as to how best we can plan the immediate future of our two parishes. We will review the results of the consultation process in St Mary’s and the continuing consultation in the Archdiocese as we look forward to the Synod in 2020. Meanwhile, the Redemptorists are continuing to encourage us to plan thoughtfully for the future and this week we will know the names of the confrères who will meet for our Provincial Chapter in January
We will remain positive and focused because the Lord promised he would always be with us and his peace is the gift which puts everything into perspective.
