LENT LUNCH at St Barnabas  - Noon

On Tuesdays during Lent,(March 12th,19th,26th, and April 2nd,9th) from 12 noon the Ladies from WINGS (Women in God’s Service) will be serving a Lunch of Homemade Soup and Bread. A reasonable donation will be acceptable. All monies being donated to the Whitechapel Centre for the Homeless. Do come and join us for a bowl of soup and help us raise money for this worthy cause.

Lectio Divina  at Our Lady of the Assumption Gateace are 1.30pm and 7pm

"Divine Reading". Lectio-read. Divina-divine. Praying the scripture as the living Word of God for our lives today. If you are ever confused about the readings at Mass then this is for you! The session will help people focus on one of the readings for the next Sunday’s Mass.

ECUMENICAL LENTEN PRAYER GROUP  at Elm Hall Drive 7-8.30pm

An opportunity to deepen your relationship with God, to explore new ways of praying, and to share on your prayer over the previous week in a confidential small group using resources on the Jesuit spirituality website: www.pathwaystogod.org .

Many resources are offered including daily prayer material by email.  You may use the resources for daily prayer without coming to the group.

 Riding Lights Theatre – Mossley Hill Parish Church 7:30 – 9:00 pm

Riding Lights Theatre Company present a passion play  “The Narrow Road”.  As we walk with inhabitants of ancient Palestine to the cross and on into the challenge of a life beyond, The Narrow Road asks each of us to review our understanding of our own faith in relation to that journey. Tickets are free of charge but seats are limited to 320 and can be obtained from Eventbrite. 

ST PETER’S WOOLTON LENT COURSE:

At 8pm in the Centenary Rooms. The course will be based about Hebrews 12 and will include worship, input, prayer and discussion.
