As you start your own Christmas shopping please consider popping a little bit extra in for these families who have been through a tough time and who have fled from their homes with nothing. It is hard to imagine isn’t it?

At the Metropolitan Cathedral from 2.00pm - 3.00pm
There will be singing from local school children, a simple drama of the Christmas story and following the service there will be mince pies and teas etc in the Gibberd Room.
There is no need to book and everyone is invited and welcome.

Once again the Cathedral is holding its Creative Christmas Workshops. Starting on on Tuesday 12 November and running for 6 weeks from 1pm – 4pm in the Gibberd Room. The six week course will use crafts and fresh flowers to make your own unique designs for Christmas for your own home or for thoughtful gifts for others. You can pay £60 for the complete course or dip in and out and pay £15 for each session you attend. Please contact  to book a place
